Wintergreen Umbrella Pine is a slow-growing evergreen conifer tree with a dense pyramidal form that holds it color in winter. The umbrella-like whorls of soft dark green needles can have as many as 20-30 needles per whorl. It prefers full sun and rich, well-draining, lightly acidic soil. Does not tolerate drought or urban pollution.
