Neon Star Dianthus is a compact mat-forming evergreen perennial with blue- grey foliage and hairy stems. Masses of fragrant fluorescent pink flowers with frilled edges bloom first in late spring into summer, and again later in summer if deadheaded. Blooms best in full sun and slightly alkaline, moist, and well-drained soil.
