Eclipse Hydrangea is a compact reblooming deciduous shrub with rich bronze to deep burgundy foliage that holds its color throughout the growing season. The mophead clusters flowers have creamy centers and an outer color that depends on the soil PH - acidic soils produce purple flowers, while alkaline soils produce the raspberry pink its known for.  Best bloom in partial sun and rich, moist well-drained soils.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS:  Medium Maintenance. Mulch soil to maintain moisture and overwinter.  If pruning is needed do so after flowering. Slight susceptibility to bud blight, wilt, leaf spot, and mildew.  Aphids are occasional problems.
