Amethyst Dream Bachelor Button is an erect clumping herbaceous perennial with grey-green lace-shaped foliage. Solitary blooms of shaggy thistle-like royal purple flowers bloom in late spring into summer. May experience a sparse rebloom if deadheaded. Flowers best in full sun and dry to medium well-drained soils. Drought Tolerant.
