Raisinette Viburnum is a compact, multi-stemmed native deciduous shrub with edible berries that taste like raisins and glossy leathery green leaves that turn red in fall. Flat clusters of fragrant white flowers bloom in late spring and give way to the berries that ripen to blue-black in fall. Flowers best with full sun and moist, lightly acidic well-drained soils. Drought tolerant once established.

MAINTENANCE NEEDS: Low Maintenance. No serious insect or disease problems. Occasional insect pests include aphids, borers, nematodes, scale and thrips. Occasional disease problems include anthracnose, leaf spots and powdery mildew. Prune as needed in late fall or early spring.
